Discover your path to balance

My journey with Kinesiology
My introduction to Kinesiology actually happened quite by chance, and stretches as far back as 2003. I was going through a difficult time and contacted a spa just to get away for the weekend. The person managing the spa happened to be a trained kinesiologist. And that’s where my journey with kinesiology began. I was so impressed with the radical and profound results I experienced that I eventually decided to get trained myself, in order to help people on physical, mental, and biochemical levels. Since 2016, I have been attending part-time courses offered by my kinesiologist, and eventually qualified as a kinesiologist.

Understanding Kinesiology
Kinesiology is different from other healing methods in that your body guides the process and communicates with the therapist, not your consciousness. The method is based on traditional Chinese medicine. Through muscle testing, the correct imbalances in the body are identified – physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual. This means the body guides the therapist to what is needed to be balanced. The body also communicates the specific method needed to regain balance.
Kinesiology and trauma releasing exercises (TRE)
Humans will always strive to live in balance in every area of their lives. I enjoy combining my kinesiology treatments with TRE, or Trauma Releasing Exercises. TRE is a method I teach clients so they can further practice at home, thus achieving even faster and deeper results. I find that the combination of these two modules yields excellent results, especially where clients struggle with childhood trauma, divorce, being a victim of crime, and so many other scenarios that we as South Africans deal with daily.
